I’ve always been fascinated about the intersect between people and technology.

After finishing high school I enrolled in Biomedical Engineering, hoping to improve peoples’ quality of life through multi-disciplinary design.

It was in my final semester, designing an interface to guide muscle rehabilitation, that I began thinking about how to improve the experience for recovering patients - it was then that I discovered user experience.

Since that moment, I’ve dived deep into UX - reading books, taking online courses, attending meets-ups & most recently completing my Master of Interaction Design.

When I am not designing, I like to dance.

How I design

Creating products that are as equally useful as they are delightful begins with understanding the user. By designing with both thought and heart, we can help people lead richer, more meaningful lives.

❤️

As a human-centred designer, keeping the user in the heart of every decision and stage of the design process is what I do. My strength is making sense of complex problems, weaving a story help connect the dots and communicating that vision to others. I love tackling challenges with an open-mind and a team by my side.

🔍

I am curious at heart. I love trying new things, digging deeper on a topic and asking questions to understand the world around me. I believe everyone has something to unique to share and learn.

🛠️

My deep knowledge of human-centred design not only helps me apply design processes, but also critique them - applying the right methods, in the right way, for the right problem.

Empathy & Iterations

The constraints and requirements of each project will determine the most appropriate methodology and tools.

As a general rule:

  1. Start with empathy

  2. Define clearly - clearer constraints, clearer outcomes

  3. Iterate - move from uncertainty to clarity

  4. Prototype quickly, test frequently - this will ensure the product is on the right track
